                        Description
                        
                            Lampropappus hoffmannii (also called Hoffmann's golden daisy, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to the Andes, and is found in dry grasslands, rocky slopes, and disturbed areas. The plant has a woody stem and its leaves are ovate and toothed. Its flower heads are yellow and have a diameter of 2–3 cm.
