Description
Koanophyllon gibbosum (also called Pectis gibbosa, among many other common names) is a small, perennial herb native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has a woody stem and small, white flowers. It grows in open, dry areas such as deserts, grasslands, and chaparral.

Koanophyllon gibbosum has small, yellow flowers with five petals. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings have small, oval leaves with a white underside.
