                            Ischnea spathulata (also called Spathulate Ischnea, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Mexico and Central America. It has a woody stem and lanceolate leaves with serrated margins. It grows in moist soils, usually in meadows, roadsides, and disturbed areas.
