Description

Hypochaeris spathulata (also called Spatulate Cat's-ear, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to Europe and North Africa. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem that can reach up to 1 meter in height. The leaves are lanceolate and toothed. The flower heads are yellow in color and are clustered at the top of the stem. It grows in dry meadows, open woods, and along roadsides.
