Description

Hypochaeris robertia (also called Robert's Cat's-ear, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to Europe and North Africa. It grows to a height of 10-30 cm and has a woody base. Its leaves are alternate, linear to lanceolate, and have a hairy texture. It has yellow flower heads with white rays and a yellow center. It grows in dry soils and is found in dry, open woods and sandy areas.
