                        Description
                        
                            Hypochaeris cretensis (also called 'Cretan Cat's Ear', among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to the Mediterranean region. It has a single, erect stem that grows up to 0.5 m tall and is covered in small, white hairs. The leaves are lanceolate and have a pungent smell.
