Cultivation and Propagation

Hubertia humblotii is an evergreen shrub that grows best in well-drained, light to medium soils. It is best propagated from cuttings taken in spring or summer. The cuttings should be taken from healthy, mature stems and placed in a moist, well-draining medium. Rooting hormones can be used to encourage root growth. Once the cuttings have rooted, they can be transplanted into individual pots and grown until they are large enough to be planted in the garden.
