                        Description
                        
                            Hoffmannanthus abbotianus (also called Abbot's Hoffmannanthus, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to China, Japan, and Korea. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and forest margins at elevations of up to 1,500 meters. It has a single, erect stem with two lanceolate leaves and a single, terminal flower.

                            Hoffmannanthus abbotianus is used as an ornamental plant in gardens. It is also used in traditional African medicine to treat a variety of ailments, including fever, malaria, and gastrointestinal problems.
