Description

Hieracium scotocephalum (also called Scot's Hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Mediterranean region. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem that grows up to 30 cm tall. The leaves are lanceolate and have toothed margins. The flowers are yellow and have a single head of ray florets. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and disturbed areas.
