Description

Heterocondylus lysimachioides (also called Lysimachia-Leaf Heterocondylus, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to the Mediterranean region. It typically grows in open grasslands, scrublands, and disturbed areas at an elevation of 0 to 1,000 meters. It has alternate, oblong to lanceolate leaves that are 2 to 6 cm long and 1 to 3 cm wide. The flowers are small and yellow and the fruits are small, red achenes.
