                            Hesperevax sparsiflora (also called sparse-flowered hedgenettle, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Boraginaceae family. It is native to the western United States and typically grows in dry, rocky soils. It is an annual herb with an erect stem and a rosette of leaves that are oblong-lanceolate in shape.
