Gymnanthemum capense (also called 'Cape Gymnanthemum', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant native to South Africa. It is a small, evergreen shrub with small, ovate leaves and white flowers. It prefers dry, rocky habitats, such as hillsides and rocky slopes.

When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out in the summer. Division can be done in spring or autumn. Larger divisions can be planted out direct into their permanent positions. We recommend covering the soil with a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost in winter.
