Gutierrezia argyrocarpa is a perennial that can be propagated by seed. Sow the seeds in a well-drained soil in a sunny location in late spring or early summer. The seeds should be planted 1/4 inch deep and spaced 6 to 8 inches apart. Water the soil regularly to keep it moist until the seedlings emerge. Thin the seedlings to the desired spacing when they are 2 to 3 inches tall. Fertilize the plants once a month with a balanced fertilizer.
