                        Description
                        
                            Ferreyranthus vernonioides (also called 'Vernon's Ferreyranthus', among many other common names) is a shrub native to South America. It grows up to 2 m tall, with a woody stem and yellow flowers. Its leaves are ovate-lanceolate and its fruits are small, globose capsules.
