Description
Eupatorium petiolata (also called Joe-Pye Weed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. It grows to a height of 1-3 meters and has a stout, branching stem. The leaves are opposite, ovate to lanceolate, and up to 20 cm long. The flower heads are in dense clusters, and the flowers are pink or purple. It is found in moist meadows, wet woods, and along streams and rivers.
