                            Ericentrodea davidsmithii (also called David Smith's Ericentrodea, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to South America. It is found in wet grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a flowering stem that can reach up to 40 cm in height.
