Description
Echinops malacophyllus (also called Globe Thistle, Blue Globe Thistle, and Globe-flower Thistle, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Mediterranean region. It grows up to 1.2 m in height and has a woody base. Its leaves are spiny and its flowers are blue. It is found in grasslands, scrublands, and rocky hillsides.
