                        Description
                        
                            Distephanus henryi (also called Henry's Distephanus, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to South America. It is found in wet grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a flowering stem that can reach up to 60 cm in height. The leaves are ovate to lanceolate in shape and the flowers are yellow in color.
