                        Description
                        
                            Diplostephium fernandez-alonsoi (also called 'Fernandez Alonso's Diplostephium', among many other common names) is an herbaceous plant native to South America. It is found in open grasslands, pastures, and roadsides. It has a woody stem and small, oval-shaped leaves. The flowers are yellow and arranged in a terminal inflorescence.
