                            Dendrosenecio meruensis (also called Giant Groundsel, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant with a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem that can reach up to 3 m in height. It is native to East Africa and can be found in grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
