                            Cymbonotus lawsonianus (also called 'Lawson's Cypress', 'Lawson's Cypress-grass' and 'Lawson's Cypress-sedge', among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial that grows up to 0.5 m tall. It is native to the western United States and is found in dry, sandy soils. Its leaves are alternate, linear-lanceolate, and up to 5 cm long.
