                        Description
                        
                            Cousinia azerbaidjanica (also called Azeri cousinia, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant native to the Caucasus region. It has basal rosettes of hairy, spoon-shaped leaves and yellow flower heads. It prefers dry, sunny habitats, such as prairies, meadows, and open woodlands.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Cousinia azerbaidjanica is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a ground cover. It has a high nutritional value and is used as a food source in some cultures.
