                        Description
                        
                            Coespeletia laxiflora (also called Lax-flowered Coespeletia, among many other common names) is an annual herb that grows up to 30 cm tall. It has pinnately compound leaves, and its flowers are yellow. It is native to Colombia and Venezuela, and is found in dry, open areas such as roadsides and disturbed sites.

                            Coespeletia laxiflora is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a food source for livestock.
