                            Chuquiraga straminea (also called Stramine Chuquiraga, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Andes of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia. It grows in dry, rocky, and sandy soils in high-altitude grasslands and shrublands.
