Calostephane marlothiana is an evergreen shrub that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Sow the seeds directly in the garden in spring or start them indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. The seeds should be sown in a shallow trench and lightly covered with soil. Keep the soil moist until germination. Cuttings can be taken in spring or summer. Take 4-6 inch cuttings from the tips of the branches and root them in a moist medium.
