Calea solidaginea is a perennial herbaceous plant that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun. It can be grown in containers or in the ground. When propagating from seed, sow the seeds in a seed tray and cover lightly with soil. Keep the soil moist and warm until germination occurs. Cuttings can be taken in spring or summer and should be planted in a pot filled with a well-draining potting mix. Keep the soil moist and in a warm, sunny location until the cuttings have rooted.
