                        Cultivation and Propagation

Calea marginata is a shrub native to South America. It prefers full sun and well-drained soils. Propagation is usually done by seed, though cuttings can also be used. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained soil mix and kept moist until germination. Cuttings should be taken from semi-hardwood stems in late summer or early fall and rooted in a well-drained soil mix.
