Brickellia baccharidea is a perennial herb that is easy to propagate from seed. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate light frost. Propagation is best done by sowing the seeds directly in the garden in early spring or late summer. The seeds should be lightly covered with soil and kept moist until germination occurs.
