Blepharispermum canescens is a perennial plant that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. To propagate from seed, sow the seeds in a sunny spot in the garden in spring or early summer. The soil should be well-drained and slightly acidic. Water the seeds regularly until they germinate. To propagate from cuttings, take a cutting from a mature plant in spring or early summer and plant it in a pot filled with moist, well-draining soil. Water the cutting regularly until it is established.
