Baccharis fraterna (also called Fraternal Baccharis, among many other common names) is a shrub native to the western United States, typically found in dry, open habitats such as chaparral and desert scrub. It typically grows to a height of 0.5–2 m, with a few specimens reaching up to 4 m. Its leaves are small, linear, and alternate, measuring 1–2 cm in length and 0.2–0.5 cm in width.
