It can be cultivated in a variety of climates, from temperate to subarctic. It is best to sow the seeds in the spring, and the seedlings should be thinned out to prevent overcrowding. Division can be done in the spring or fall. The plant can be divided into smaller clumps and replanted in the desired location.
