Astranthium splendens is a perennial wildflower native to the southeastern United States. It is easy to cultivate and propagate from seed. Sow seeds in a well-drained soil in a sunny location in spring or fall. Thin seedlings to 12-18 inches apart. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage new blooms. Divide clumps in spring or fall every 3-4 years to maintain vigor.
