Description

Asterothamnus alyssoides (also called silver aster, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to the Mediterranean region. It grows to a height of up to 30 cm and has hairy stems and leaves. Its flowers are white to pink and are borne in clusters on the ends of the stems. It is found in dry grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
