Artemisia kanashiroi is a perennial herbaceous plant that can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers full sun and moist soil. It can be cultivated in a wide range of soils, but it does best in a well-drained, humus-rich soil. It can be propagated by division in the spring or by seed in the fall. It is best to sow the seeds in a cold frame in the fall and then transplant the seedlings in the spring.
