Description
Anaphalis alpicola (also called Alpine Everlasting, among many other common names) is an annual herb, usually growing to a height of 10-50 cm. It is native to Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia, and is found in moist, grassy areas, such as swamps, ditches, and wet meadows.

Anaphalis alpicola has small, white flowers with five petals and a single style. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings have two cotyledons that are oval-shaped and slightly toothed.
