Description

Ageratina chimalapana (also called Chimalapa Snakeroot, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to Mexico. It has a rounded form and can reach up to 2 m in height. Its leaves are opposite, lanceolate, and up to 10 cm long. It is found in montane forests and shrublands, usually between 2,000 and 3,000 m above sea level.
