                        Description
                        
                            Acilepis thwaitesii (also called Thwaite's Acilepis, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial native to Sri Lanka. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single flower head with yellow ray florets. It grows in moist woodlands, meadows and prairies.

                            Acilepis thwaitesii is used as an ornamental plant in gardens, as it has attractive yellow flowers.
