Achillea maura is a perennial herb that is propagated by seed or division. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It can tolerate drought and is relatively low maintenance. Propagation by seed is best done in the spring. Seeds should be sown in a light, sandy soil and kept moist until germination occurs. Division is best done in the spring or fall. The clumps of plants should be divided and replanted in the same soil.
