Description

Alyxia kwalotabaa (also called 'Native Holly', among many other common names) is a small to medium-sized shrub native to Australia. It has glossy, dark green leaves and small, white flowers. It grows in dry sclerophyll forests and woodlands in the south-east of New South Wales and Victoria.

Alyxia kwalotabaa is used as an ornamental plant, for its timber, and for honey production. It can also be used as a windbreak or as a shade tree.

Cultivation and Propagation

Alyxia kwalotabaa is a small, evergreen shrub that grows to a height of about 1 metre. It prefers a sunny position in well-drained soil.
