Description

Hygrodicranum herrerae (also called Herrera's Hygro, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the Amblystegiaceae family. It is found in the Andes Mountains of Peru and Bolivia, growing in moist, shady areas such as wet rocks, tree trunks, and soil. It has an upright habit, with stems reaching up to 3 cm in height and bearing oval-shaped leaves with pointed tips.
