Amaranthus wrightii (also called Wright's amaranth, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States. It has a bushy habit and grows to a height of about 1 meter. Its leaves are ovate and its flowers are small and greenish-white. It grows in moist soils in open areas and along roadsides.
