Amaranthus chihuahensis (also called Chihuahuan amaranth, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to Mexico. It has a branching stem and grows up to 1.2 m tall. Its leaves are simple, alternate, and ovate. It is found in grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
