Description

Amaranthus powellii (also called Powell's Amaranth, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant that grows up to 1.5 m tall. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, and its habitats include roadsides, fields, and disturbed areas. It has ovate to lanceolate leaves and small, greenish-white flowers.
