Zingiber pendulum (also called pendulous ginger, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Zingiberaceae family. It is a perennial herb that grows to a height of 0.5–1 m. It is native to Southeast Asia and is found in the tropical wet forests of India, Malaysia, and Thailand. It is found in wet, lowland forests, often near rivers and streams.
