Description
Zingiber angustifolium (also called 'Narrow-leaved Ginger', among many other common names) is a species of ginger native to India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests at elevations of 1000-3000 m. It has a clumping habit and long, slender rhizomes. The leaves are lanceolate and have a pointed tip.
