Description
Renealmia timmiorum (also called Timm's Renealmia, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen, perennial herb with short, stiff, upright stems. It is native to Costa Rica. It is found in moist, shady areas, such as along streams and in forests.

Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Renealmia timmiorum has small, white flowers and produces small, black seeds. The seedlings have two cotyledons and a pair of opposite, simple leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Renealmia timmiorum is a perennial plant that is best propagated by stem cuttings. To propagate, take a cutting from a stem and allow it to dry out for a few days before planting in a well-draining soil. Water the soil lightly and keep in a warm, sunny location. The cutting should take root in a few weeks.
