Description
Woodsia oblonga (also called Oblong Woodsia, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen, perennial fern native to China, Japan, and Korea. It is characterized by its small, bright green, lance-shaped leaflets, and its ability to form dense clumps. It prefers moist, shady habitats, such as in forests, woodlands, and along stream banks.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Woodsia oblonga has small, greenish-brown flowers and small, globose seeds. The seedlings have a single cotyledon and a short hypocotyl.
