Description
Cissus venezuelensis (also called Venezuelan Grape, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the grape family, Vitaceae. It is a woody climber with tendrils, and its leaves are simple, alternate, and ovate. It is native to Venezuela, and it can be found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in coastal areas.

Cissus venezuelensis is used as an ornamental plant and its leaves are used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of ailments including fever, diarrhea, and skin diseases.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flowers of Cissus venezuelensis are small, greenish-white in colour and have five petals. The seed is a small, dark brown, oval-shaped seed. The seedlings are small, with dark green leaves and a thin stem.
Cultivation and Propagation
Bulbophyllum rubipetalum is a fast-growing, evergreen climber that can reach up to 10m in height. It can be propagated by stem cuttings or air layering. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures as low as -2°C.
