Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Cissus schmitzii has small, white flowers and small, black seeds. The seedlings are small and delicate, with light green leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cissus schmitzii is a fast-growing, evergreen, perennial vine that can reach lengths of up to 10 feet. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is done through stem cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Cuttings should be about 6 inches long and placed in a well-draining potting mix. Keep the soil moist and in a warm, bright location until the cuttings begin to root.
