Description
Cissus pseudoguerkeana (also called False-Guerkeana Cissus, among many other common names) is a woody, perennial vine with tendrils and small, ovate leaves. It is native to tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Australia, and is usually found in moist, shady habitats.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Cissus pseudoguerkeana has small, white flowers that are clustered together in umbels. The flowers are followed by small, round, black seeds. The seedlings are thin and have small, oval-shaped leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cissus pseudoguerkeana is a fast-growing, evergreen climber that can reach up to 10m in height. It can be propagated by stem cuttings or air layering. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures as low as -2°C.
